Wow. Its been forever since I've been on DA. So much has changed. I'm still with the same girl, almost a year now, it hurts my head to think about it. It's been such a long time, and we've kept holding on. Sometimes I wish I could get away, but, I know I would regret it. I must greatly apologize to the friend who I hold so close to my heart. It would seem that jealousy is a powerful force, and my girl simply had enough. I have not abandoned you, Taryn, as you no doubt know, and if you ever need me I am always here. It's so hard sometimes to think about the past from not so long ago; it's so easy to see where I screwed up. I was so naive back then, so innocent, if only I had known. And yet regret is not a strong enough force to break down what I now have. Or is it only that if I left, I would have nowhere else to go? Somehow, It will all make sense some day.
But this is all reflections on the past.
School is winding down, almost into 3rd trimester, my easy one. I've auditioned and gotten into a band as a rhythm guitarist, and we practice twice a week. I've applied to Linfield College and hope to be accepted, where I will study business marketing. To me, college will be a chance to branch out, to make new friends. However, my girl is also going to the same college, and I hope that we won't cling to each other to the point of isolation from the rest of the world.
